Please Donate for Earthquake Victims of Nepal

Nepalese Association of Connecticut is in need of your assistance for helping earthquake victims of Nepal. Nepal has been hit by 7.8 magnitude earthquake on April 25 that has left Nepalese people with more than 4200 deaths, 7000 injured, countless homeless, without water, food, blood and medication. Many victims are in desperate need of food, shelter, clothes, water, blood and immediate medical help.

All of our hospitals have crumbled, we have piles of people in the streets dead. Some people have had to have their limbs removed without aesthetics. Makeshift hospitals are being made with tents but there are not enough doctors or medication for the amount of injured.

The smell of dead bodies has risen in the entire city, the people have become desperate of the situation. There are still people who are under the rumble and cannot be reached. Many brothers and sisters are unaccounted for. We do not know if they are alive or dead. Houses, historic buildings, world heritage sites, stores have been destroyed. There are wails in every corner of the city. It’s just a real living nightmare.

In his tragic situation, Nepalese Association of Connecticut would like to request everyone to donate for earthquake victims of Nepal. The donation collected will be sent directly to Nepal Red Cross Society. Please note that our association is a non-profit organization and is tax exempt under IRS code 501(c) (3). The donation is tax deductible and we can provide you a receipt for donations made by cash and check.  Please see below for ways to donate:
