Urgent Appeal to Help Nepal Earthquake Victims: Please Donate

As you know the two major earthquakes that hit Nepal on April 25th with magnitude 7.8 and on May 12th with magnitude 7.3 has taken more than 8,600 lives and injured more than 21,000 people so far. The numbers are keep growing everyday as rescue effort continues in remote villages.  The destruction is so massive that it took close to 500,000 homes to the ground including many historic buildings and world heritage sites. More than 260,000 homes are partially damaged.
 
 

In this tragic situation, Nepalese Association of Connecticut is making an urgent appeal to all for monetary donations to help the earthquake victims and families in Nepal. The collected funds will be sent directly to help earthquake victims in Nepal through reliable organizations. Please note that our association is a non-profit organization and is tax exempt under IRS code 501(c) (3). The donation is tax deductible and we can provide you a receipt for donations made by cash and check.

Please donate and keep the Nepali community, people of Nepal and all other citizens that were affected by this terrible disaster in your thoughts and prayers.
